After you’ve checked out our site, we’d love for you to come by and see the daily goins’ ons at our quirky handmade tile studio in the sticks of southern New Hampshire. If goofy dogs, cool tile, and an eclectic group of former interior designers, high end tile sales consultants, and art school dropouts having fun making tile, and often times experimenting with all things awesome is your thing, then our blog will be right up your alley. Even if its not, it’s a fun way to look into the magical world of handmade tile.

Today at Wet Dog Tile!

Here at Wet Dog Tile, not only do we have one-of-a-kind borders and murals, but we do custom orders to fit any size as well!
Today we're starting an order for an 18' border based off our ever popular "Are We There Yet" mural.

"Are We There Yet" shown in 18"x18".

Plenty of thought and planning goes into each and every order we do. Drawings not only help our artists decide where to place each piece, but they aid the client as well, giving a better visualization that words may not be able to give.

Today we're working on the border shown in color.

Before placing any pieces, our artists must first measure, lay, and cut both parchment paper and fiberglass mesh. We use parchment paper to keep glue from reaching the table when we glue each piece to the mesh. After both the paper and mesh are laid on the table, our artists begin placing the pieces!

It is a long and labor-intensive process, but the outcome is well worth it! Come back soon to see the finish product before we ship it out!
