After you’ve checked out our site, we’d love for you to come by and see the daily goins’ ons at our quirky handmade tile studio in the sticks of southern New Hampshire. If goofy dogs, cool tile, and an eclectic group of former interior designers, high end tile sales consultants, and art school dropouts having fun making tile, and often times experimenting with all things awesome is your thing, then our blog will be right up your alley. Even if its not, it’s a fun way to look into the magical world of handmade tile.

Outside the Box: The Un-Square Advantage!

By not conforming to the constraints of a square, the applications for Wet Dog Tile are extensive! For example: Decorative puddles in room corners, wood floor inlays, stair risers, fountains, pools, and more. The possibilities are endless! Below are a handful of installation photos showing how versatile our tile really is!

The rectangular mural is a classic design for a kitchen backsplash. Every design is made by hand with plenty of love, so they become an instant focal piece for whatever room they're in!

Another popular setting for our tile is in bathrooms, but did you know our tile is great for shower floors? We use extremely durable stoneware clay, so not only can it go on your wall, but it can go on the floor as well! This installation shows a design wrapping from the wall to the floor for a dimensional feel that immerses you in the space. Our tile is slip resistant and is a perfect option for both shower walls and floors.

Why stop at showers? Wet Dog Tile is perfect for any water-related application - including outdoors! We have done quite a few pool surrounds, outdoor showers, and other outdoor applications such as house number plaques, patio floors, walkways, and more...

Fire pits! We created this custom fire pit surround using a medley of our glass, stone, pebbles, glazed Rounds and glazed Friends!

Our pieces are glazed with high quality, non-toxic, lead free glazes! Our kilns reach temperatures of 2300°, so our tile is perfect for high-heat applications such as this!

Would you like to see more installation photos? Our collection is always growing over on our Photos & Ideas page - feel free to check it out! Do you have an idea for something we have yet to do?
