After you’ve checked out our site, we’d love for you to come by and see the daily goins’ ons at our quirky handmade tile studio in the sticks of southern New Hampshire. If goofy dogs, cool tile, and an eclectic group of former interior designers, high end tile sales consultants, and art school dropouts having fun making tile, and often times experimenting with all things awesome is your thing, then our blog will be right up your alley. Even if its not, it’s a fun way to look into the magical world of handmade tile.

This Week at Wet Dog Tile!

Hey, everyone!

We'd like to show you what's going on here at Wet Dog this week.

We've got quite a few different things going on so we'll give you a quick look at everything!

Our work tables are full with a bunch of different orders. Between standard and custom designs, our tables are almost completely full!

Above is a closer look at a custom mural we're working on that features a custom lighthouse we wrote about in a previous blog post! It's coming along quite nicely!

We're still hard at work on creating moldings! We're trying some new techniques, hoping to streamline the process so we can begin to sell three styles of moldings by mid-Spring - Cornice, chair rail, and pencil liner moldings.

Yesterday was the warmest day we'll have all week and we were running low on Bluff, one of our textures, so we went outside and made more! When we have the desired pieces (shown right) they go into a tumbler to smooth out the edges and result in our Bluff skipping stones!

We've got plenty of things keeping us busy this week! We're glad to finally be in Spring... hopefully the snow will go away sooner rather than later! Have a great week, everyone!
