A Closer Look: Wavy Borders

Hi, everyone!

This week we'd like to share a current project, as well as some of our past ones, to show you that borders and murals from Wet Dog Tile can truly be any shape and size you wish! Sometimes you may want to think outside the box and go for a wavy design. Below you'll see our current project as well as a few of photos we've handpicked to showcase what we mean - check them out!

This is the sketch for our current project that features a wavy border

As you can see, in it's current state it's pretty much identical to the sketch! 

Our current project is a fun one. We've created a 22"x30" mural with a matching border - but this border is a little different. The top edge has winding curves throughout its' entirety and flows through the mural for a continuous feel, resulting in quite the fun look! It may be hard to envision in this stage, so below are some similar designs we've done to give you an idea...

As you can see, it's always fun to switch it up! With that being said, there's nothing wrong with the classic straight-edged borders and murals - it's just fun to do something funky when it's an option!
