After you’ve checked out our site, we’d love for you to come by and see the daily goins’ ons at our quirky handmade tile studio in the sticks of southern New Hampshire. If goofy dogs, cool tile, and an eclectic group of former interior designers, high end tile sales consultants, and art school dropouts having fun making tile, and often times experimenting with all things awesome is your thing, then our blog will be right up your alley. Even if its not, it’s a fun way to look into the magical world of handmade tile.

The Biggest News We've Had All Year...

Earlier this week we announced some big news - maybe the biggest news we've had this year: new pieces, a new border, and new mural! Not only did we announce it, but we followed through and released everything a week ahead of time!

Have you taken a few minutes to check out all the new pieces on our website? From mermaids, turtles, and shells, to feathers, flowers, and bottle caps!

For this release we put a lot of love into the Ocean Dog and Pond Dog Collections. Multiple new pieces were added into each, as well as a new border and mural for the Ocean Dog Collection. For those of you who enjoy the Lake Dog Collection; don't fret! We have even MORE pieces we'll be rolling out soon!

We hope everyone has a great weekend! See you next week!

News, Notifcations, Updates... Whatever You'd Like To Call It!

We've been pretty busy here at Wet Dog Tile, between keeping our 'friends' inventory up to par, designing and creating custom borders and murals, making plans for the future, and more! For the past couple months we've been designing and making molds of new pieces to add to our collections. We've also been working on a new border and a new mural to add to our stock. We're working on updating our showrooms, as well as our website, with all of the information on our new pieces, borders, and murals so that we can unveil everything all at once! It's very exciting for us because it's been quite some time since we've released anything new.

Everything should be ready to go in about a week's time - we will post something then as well. We hope everyone is as excited as we are!

Photo Of The Day

Today's Photo Of The Day was taken here at the shop.

It's actually a combination of two photos that we put together to show how glaze reacts once it's fired! On the left you can see the ceramic pieces have glaze on them - they almost look like chalky, pastel colors. On the right are the pieces after coming out of the kiln. Our kiln fires these pieces to over 2,000 degrees! It's crazy how some colors change so drastically once being fired, isn't it?

Photo taken from our Instagram page. If you'd like to take a look at our Instagram page, click the photo above and it'll take you there! Feel free to give us a follow!

"Instagram is a fun and quirky way to share your life with friends through a series of pictures. Snap a photo with your mobile phone, then choose a filter to transform the image into a memory to keep around forever." - Instagram | FAQ

Wet Dog Tile uses Instagram for many different things. We post our ideas, installation photos, progress photos, our four-legged friends, and more! Instagram gives a more intimate look into what goes on here at the Wet Dog Tile company. Every now and then we share an Instagram photo to our other social media accounts but for the most part Instagram posts stay exclusively on Instagram!

Here's a few photos taken from our page.

Instagram allows us to give our followers a special look inside Wet Dog Tile and see what we do and what goes on here!

So, we have one question:

Do you follow us?

A Few Orders Worked On This Week...

We are constantly working on more than one order here at Wet Dog. This week our tables are nearly completely full of different orders - both custom and stock murals and borders!  Here are a few of the more custom orders we've got on our tables right now...

This custom 20" x 32" mural is made with various ceramic pieces from our Ocean Dog Collection such as 6" Flat Sea Turtles, 2" Baby Sea Turtles, 3" Extra Small Starfish, a 3" Seahorse, a 3" Small Crab, and more.

This order, a bit smaller, uses two 7" Mermaids, as well as stone, glass rounds, and ceramic drops. It is 6.5" x 9.25" but once grouted it will make quite the impression!

It was quite hard to fit this border into one photo! This fish border is 4" x 48" and is made with glass, various stone, ceramic drops, and 3" ceramic fish swimming throughout!

Last but not least, this 24"x38" custom mural. We have bad lighting in the studio so bear with us! This mural was made using friends from the Ocean Dog Collection such as 7" Large Starfish, 6" Medium Starfish, 7" Eel Grass, a 3" Small Crab, a 5" Quahog Shell, a 4" Scallop Shell, and more!

Photo Of The Day!

Today's POTD is a shot of a mural we're currently working on here at the shop! Filled with different turtles, various shells, kelp, and more! Definitely a bright and beautiful piece of art so far!
